Cleanstream Carpets CIC was established in 2008 in South Wales and our vision is to provide the best service and price for the recovery and sales of carpet tiles in the Uk in order to maximize benefit to the community.

Three and a half million carpet tiles are disposed of to landfill every year in South Wales and the South West. Carpet tiles are designed to last up to ten years or more and are often replaced due to changes in tenants in a building or moving offices, branding or other redesign and not because they are worn out! This means that many carpet tiles in great condition were ending up in landfill.

Cleanstream Carpets saves carpet tiles from landfill and through a process of being handsorted sells them at low prices. Cleanstream Carpets is also a social enterprise and this process is not purely profit driven but also driven by environmental and social issues. There is a constant change in stock as we take back carpet tiles from across the region and wider, these can be both small and large amounts. The carpet tiles arrive in a variety of conditions from nearly new to heavily trafficked. There are more details on our Tile Recovery Service page.
